Judy Carroll Hicks

Judy loved helping other people.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Jimmy Alston and Rev. Bryant Madren; burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home, Liberty.

She was the daughter of the late Alvis Sterling and Flossie Ella Phillips Carroll and was also preceded in death by her husband, Garland Lewis Hicks and five brothers, Fred Carroll, Sterling “Buddy” Carroll, John Carroll, Raymond Carroll, Henry “Petie” Carroll.

Surviving are her daughters, Ginger Isley and husband, Jeff and Rhonda Hargis and husband, Dennis; brother, Oscar “Dick” Carroll; grandchildren, Jennifer Woods, Michael Hargis and Stephanie Braxton; 7 great-grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews.
