The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty.
She was the daughter of the late William Album Layton, Sr. and Betty Jane Bunton Layton and was also preceded in death by her brothers, Charlie Layton, Bill Layton, John Layton and Clyde Layton.
Jane is survived by her husband of 25 years, James Lee "Jimmy" Lucas; sons, Arliss "Bubba" Thrift, Jr. and Matthew Thrift; grandchildren, Abigail Thrift, Everett Thrift and Jensen Thrift; sister, Marie Layton; brother, Jimmy Layton (Pam); and several nieces and nephews.
