James Everett Coble, 85, of Liberty passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Chatham Hospital.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 24 at 2p.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Brian Harrington; burial will follow in Gilmore Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Jackie Lackey Coble.
Surviving is his daughter, Judy Coble Kivett; one granddaughter, Michelle Kivett; two grandsons, Joshua and Christopher Kivett; six sisters, Merle Fox, Nellie Holt, Fran Jessup, Ruby O’Briant, Anne Lowe and Thelma Caviness and one brother, James Layton.
