Foy Virginia Lowe Ward

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 14 at 3:00 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service at the church.

She was the daughter of the late Wade Hampton and Myrtle O’Briant Lowe and was also preceded in death by her husband, Vestal Womack Ward; four sisters and three brothers.

Surviving is her daughter, Diane Elizabeth Ward of Alamance; sons, Ernest Franklin Ward (Brenda) of London, Ohio, Archie Wade Ward (Alice) of Groveport, Ohio, Benjamin Colvin Ward (Susan) of Carpenter, Wyoming, Vernie Lynn Ward (Susie) of Columbus, Ohio and Timothy Wayne Ward (Christina) of Liberty, NC; 11 grandchildren, Trena Lynn Sherwood, Tonya Renee Naylor, Michelle Lea Munden, Amanda Marie Avery, Joseph Michael Turner, Janelle Suzanne Ward, Jeffrey Alan Ward, Benjamin Dillon Ward, Stephen Greenwald, Dalton Greenwald, and Lakota Dax Stryker; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and one step-sister, Jean Taylor of Hampton, VA.
