Sandra and family…I have fond memories of Dee and you (Sandra) when Kathy and I were in college.  Kathy has always kept me up to date on the Martin family.

Sandra, it’s hard to believe that Dee is no longer with us.  He was so outgoing and funny. Dee was a pleasure to know and work with.  Thinking of you.

God bless you Sandra and family in the passing of Dee.  As your Pastor at First UMC from 2001 to 2008, it was a blessing to be your pastor and friend.  Dee was such a pleasant and good man to be around.  Karen and I want to express our deepest sympathy to each of you and will have you in our prayers.  May God comfort your hearts and give you peace.

Dee was Dee, an outstanding Veteran who served his country with Honor. Was a active member of Liberty American Legion Post 81, He served as the Historian, did the POW/MIA Ceremony at most meeeting  and even helped with G.I. Parties. He was always fun to be around and always had something going most the time. Dee will be missed at our meetings, funfraisers, at the morning coffee club. Dee was an individual that worked in the Community, Church, Randolph County Honor Guard, and even served a Scout Master at Troop 502 in his younger years. He always told me that he was fine or OK in his last few months, but I knew he did not feel well and he put up a good front! Dee was a good Friend and fellow Veteran.  We were blessed to have know Him!   R.I. P.
