A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 12 at 7:00 pm, at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel in Liberty. There will be a reception following the service at the family home.
David was born September 22, 1963 in Laramie, Wyoming. He attended schools in Casper, Wyoming, and graduated from Natrona County High School. David worked for various construction firms in Casper and on the US territorial island of Guam. In 1988 he followed his dear friend, John Myron to work in North Carolina, where he worked as a heavy equipment operator from 1988 until the day he was called home by our Lord. North Carolina provided David with more than great employment; he met the love of his life, Donna Lynn Silakowski. At the time of his passing he was employed by KRG Utilities of Lenoir North Carolina. David was the walking definition of “work hard, play hard,” as he was both a highly skilled and valuable employee and a person who loved to celebrate the simple things in life with the people he loved. He was close to finishing the restoration of his prized 1968 Camaro and the remodeling of the family home in Liberty, North Carolina at the time of his death. David was devoted to his family; helping father, Frank and mother, Eileen maintain their rental apartments.
David was preceded in death by his father, Frank Lloyd Bowron.
Surviving is his wife, Donna of Liberty; mother, Eileen of Casper, WY; brother, Les Bowron (Beth) of Nashville, TN; six nephews; four nieces and his beloved dogs, Nader and Zilla. He is also survived by numerous friends and co-workers in North Carolina and Wyoming who know that their work will be harder without David there to help.
