Charles (Chuck) Russell Kuhn, Jr., 58, died on September 27, 2013. A resident of Greensboro for the past several years, Mr. Kuhn was predeceased by his parents, Charles R. Kuhn, Sr. and Elizabeth (Lib) Dowell Kuhn. A native of Liberty, Mr. Kuhn graduated from Eastern Randolph High School and after attending UNC-Chapel Hill briefly, returned later to A& T State University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He spent most of his career as a service representative for various car dealerships in Greensboro, until he became unable to work due to multiple sclerosis (MS). He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Lynn Kuhn of California, his sister Nancy R. Kuhn and brother-in-law Roy M. Henwood, Jr. of Washington, DC; his long-term friend Deborah Tolbert, and friend Jeannie Hunt, and several cousins. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at First Baptist Church, 659 S. Fayetteville Street, Liberty. Private interment will occur later. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Liberty.
