A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetery, 1712 Pleasant Hill Liberty Road, Liberty, officiated by Pastor Ron Harris and Pastor Howard Spray. The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
Carol was the daughter of the late Clyde Edward Sink and Clara Tesh Sink; she was also preceded in death by her brother, Albert Sink.
She leaves behind the love of her life, Ronnie Overman; two loving children, Jason Overman and Leslie Overman Caviness, and her husband, Darin; grandchildren, Bryson Caviness and Haley Caviness; and brother, Ed Sink and his wife, Pam.
Carol was a long time member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church and member of the Circle 3 Ladies Group. She served as Dental Assistant at Stone Dentistry in Burlington for over 20 years. She volunteered at Alamance Regional Cancer Center for 12 years and was a founding member of the Wings to Recovery program for cancer survivors. She had a true servant’s heart by helping other patients and survivors through their journey. She touched many lives and was a true blessing to her family, friends, and community. Most of all, Carol was a loving wife, mother, and Nana.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Alamance Regional Cancer Center for the love they have shown Carol and her family over the years.
