He was a sweetheart of a man; a very loving and caring son, brother and uncle who loved cars and fishing. He was retired from Worchester Controls and worked for many years with Kayser-Roth. Allen proudly served his country in the US Army from 1961 until 1964 and was a member of The Liberty American Legion Post 81.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, March 16, from 3 until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Kirby Brent and Ola Mae Wall Bowman and his brother, Thomas Bowman.
Surviving is his sister, Kay Bowman Carter and husband, Thomas.
