Reta Marie (Tuck) Summers, 93, passed into glory February 26, 2024 in Port St. Lucie, Florida with her daughter and family by her side.
Reta was born March 19, 1931, in Gower, Missouri to Artie and Maude Tuck. After high school she graduated from nursing school in St. Joseph, Missouri with her degree and went on to a long career in nursing, eventually retiring from Ford Motor Company in Claycomo, Missouri.
Reta worked full time her adult life to give her kids everything she could possibly provide them to ensure their success in life. Her generosity and love for her family were astounding and she was the mother every child would want!
She is survived by her sons Ron and Randy, and her daughter Paula Brady, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and another great grandchild soon to arrive. As she desired, no memorial service will be held, with only her immediate family attending a cemetery service at White Chapel Cemetery in Gladstone.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations in her honor may be made to the charity of your choice.
