Randy Dale Hunsaker II

Randy Dale Hunsaker, II, 42, of Independence, MO, passed away November 5, 2021. A Celebration of Randy’s Life will be held at 11:30am, Thursday, November 11th, with a visitation preceding from 10:00-11:30am, all at South Liberty Baptist Church, 650 Ruth Ewing Rd, Liberty, MO 64068.

Randy was born December 24, 1978 in Jackson County, MO to Randy Dale and Barbara Hunsaker. He was born with an ornery sense of humor and was often called out by teachers for his hilarious antics. Randy graduated from William Chrisman High School and started work as an automotive painter shortly thereafter. He was a gifted painter and worked in the field for almost twenty years. Randy felt the need for a change and then started working for Messer Construction as a carpenter.

He married the love of his life, Billie Jo Harter on June 7, 2003 and they had three children, Corinna, Gabriel, and Remington. His beloved family was the greatest joy of his life. Randy always had a project going and could build or fix just about anything. He built a swimming pool for his family during Covid, sheds, decks, and many others. Randy was always willing to lend a helping hand to others for a project they had. Lately, Randy was making funny t-shirts that highlighted his sense of humor.

Randy is survived by his wife of 18 years, Billie Hunsaker; his children, Corinna, Gabriel and Remington Hunsaker; his parents, Randy Sr. and Barbara Hunsaker; the siblings of his heart, Sara Hunsaker, and Sam Hunsaker; his mothers-in-law, Cindy Pugh-Kyte (Tim), and Maria Corriea; his father-in-law, Paul Harter (Erin Bellamy); as well as many other friends and relatives.
