Margaret "Marge" Catherine Moran

Margaret “Marge” C. Moran, passed away November 18, 2022. Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Friday, November 25, 2022 at Church Archer Pasley Funeral Home, 119 E. Franklin St., Liberty, MO 64068; with a visitation from noon-1:00pm preceding the service. Interment will follow in White Chapel Cemetery, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119. Memorial contributions may be made to Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home, to assist with cemetery and funeral expenses.

Marge was born July 22, 1929 in Excelsior Springs, MO to Mayne and Catherine Ferril. She grew up in the country outside of Excelsior Springs and their family moved to Chicago. Marge met her husband, Levi Moran while staying in Las Vegas with her mother. They married and lived all over the world while her husband served in the Army Air Force. They adopted their son, Daniel, while living in England and moved back to the US in 1962. They lived in Maine, then California, and settled in Missouri.

Marge worked for Southwestern Bell, now AT&T as an operator for twenty-one years. After retiring from AT&T, she worked over twenty years at Maple Woods College. She was active with the South Liberty Baptist Church. Marge was a member of the Christian Women’s Club in Excelsior Springs, as well as the Daughter of the American Revolution in Lexington. She enjoyed collecting plates and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mayne Ferril and his wife, Ada Ferril; her mother, Catherine France; her sister, Patricia Romayne Ferril; and her husband, Levi Moran.

Marge is survived by her son, Daniel Moran and his wife Jeri; her grandchildren, Susannah Dunnington (Ryan), and Thomas Moran (Elizabeth); her great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Addison Clutter, and Toby Dunnington; her dear friends, Pat Lamb, and Rene Marshall Birkenholz; as well as other relatives and friends.
