Kenneth Clyde “KC” Williams, 92, of Kearney, Mo passed away Thursday, October 19th. Funeral services will be 11:00am, Friday, October 27, 2023 at Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home, 119 E. Franklin St., Liberty, MO 64068. Interment with Honors will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, October 27th at Hopewell Cemetery of Weatherby, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Baptist Home, 20509 State Hwy J, Peculiar, MO 64078.
KC is survived by his wife, Vida Williams; two sons, Kenney Williams (Susan Williams), and Larry Williams (Jacqueline Williams); and two grandchildren, Kennedie and Kacey Williams.
KC was born in Pattonsburg, Mo to Mike and Alpha Williams on July 26th, 1931. As a young man, KC loved to hunt, fish, and ride in box cars on freight trains. When KC was young, he enlisted in the United States Army where he was stationed in Texas. Upon his honorable discharge, KC returned to Pattonsburg, Mo where he met and married wife Vida Assel. KC then started his career at Great Lakes Pipeline, later in his career he worked for Gulf Oil Research in Kansas City, Mo, and retired from Allied Bendix in the mid 1990’s. He and his wife Vida were married for 66 years. KC loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and remembered for his joyful and giving personality.
