Kathie Beth Musgrave, 69, of Kansas City, passed away December 26, 2020 at home surrounded by family. Funeral services will be 11:00am, Wednesday, December 30th at Hope Fellowship Baptist Church, 8350 N. Conant Ave., Kansas City, MO 64152, with visitation from 10:00-11:00am preceding the service at the church. Interment will follow in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens, 23215 W 75th St, Shawnee, KS 66227. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Fellowship Church, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, or Kids Alive International.
Kathie was born April 11, 1951 in Sedan, KS to Lloyd and Edith Sprague. She graduated from high school and Wichita State University. Kathie worked as an accountant for Koch Industries, Farmland Industries, H&R Block and DST. She raised three children, Sandra, Kristine, and Scott. Kathie enjoyed genealogy and was a member of the DAR; she spent a lot of time studying scripture, reading, and traveling. Her fondest memories were spending time with her family and grandchildren. Kathie was also an active member of Hope Fellowship Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Bill Sprague; and her grandsons, Colin and Logan Musgrave.
Kathie is survived by her children, Sandra Kachelries (James), Kristine Branson (James), and Scott Musgrave (Lisa); her grandchildren, Ashley Martin, Sara Grubb (Tristan), Richard Alderman, Jr., James Branson, Jr., Zachariah Branson, Abigail Branson, Elizabeth Branson, Tyler Musgrave, Evelyn Musgrave, and Kaitlyn Musgrave; her great grandchildren, Gloria Lisowski, Rieley Ebert, Tristan Grubb, Jr., Samuel Grubb, Aiden Alderman, and Brynlee Alderman; her sister-in-law, Rose Marie Sprague, as well as other relatives and friends.
