Janice was born on May 19, 1942 in Hannibal, Missouri to Maurice and Thelma Tate. She grew up in Hannibal and graduated from high school in Fairfield, Iowa. Janice earned her certification as an LPN. She started a family with her first husband, and then heard the call of the road, traveling the country for many years. Janice was a wanderer and loved seeing the sights throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada. She settled down in Liberty, Missouri with her husband, Jack Newman in 1998.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Thelma Tate.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Newman; her children, Phillip Rusk (Michelle), Pamela Brisbin (Mark), and Paula Rusk; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
