Cassandra "Cassie" Ann Garrett, 56, of Liberty, Missouri passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019. Cassie was born in Danville, Illinois on June 10, 1962 to parents Robert and Norma Hauk. In 1980, she graduated from Covington Community High School and joined the Marines directly after. While in the Marines, she served at Camp Lejeune and Parris Island. After her time in the military, she served in the medical field for many years. Cassie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael Garrett; brother, Brett Hauk; and daughter, Nicole Drummond. She leaves behind her daughters; Brittany and Tanya Drummond; son, Chance Palmer; grandchildren, Tyler, Jayden, Katelyn and Keira; brothers, Jeff (Diane) Hauk and Kevin (Donna) Hauk; and a multitude of nieces, nephews and friends to cherish her memory. A private family service will be conducted in Cassie's honor.
