Beverly Ann Roark

Beverly Ann Roark, age 89, of Liberty, Missouri, passed away on March 16, 2025. Beverly was born in Liberty, MO on January 19, 1936 to Claude and Helen Johnson. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1954.

Beverly worked as a secretary at the Clay County Extension Office. She walked daily at Canterbury Park, where she loved being outside and seeing friends, including the human and furry varieties! She continued to be very active, including attending regular water aerobics classes. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She made more afghans than family and friends could use, so several were donated to Hillcrest Transitional Housing over the years. She was a great cook and baker, treating her adult kids with cookies every year on their birthdays.

Beverly, known as Queenie to her family, was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gary, and two grandchildren, Claire Yates and Brian Bolin Jr. She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Martin (Greg) of Spokane, WA, Alan Bolin (Cheri) of Liberty, MO, Jeffry Bolin (Monica) of Kearney, MO, and Brian Bolin Sr. of Liberty, MO, grandchildren Chris Bolin, Amber Purcell, Justin Bolin, Mitch Bolin, Lauren Pope, Whitney Knadler, Lee Yates, Kevin Martin, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
