Robert Lee Pence Jr.

Robert (Bobby) Lee Pence, Jr., 32, of Liberty, IN, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Bobby was born in Oxford, Ohio on August 11, 1984, to Robert (Bob) Lee Pence, Sr. and the late Joyce Elaine Pence. Bobby was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Connersville, IN. He was a graduate of UCHS, and was an Ivy Tech Automotive student. He spent many years employed at Greensfork Alignment and he worked for his Dad at the Whitewater Valley Gun Club. Bobby was a world-traveled shooter on the USA shooting sports team, an artistic carpenter and a photographer. An avid star gazer, Bobby followed astronomy with passion. A much loved baby brother to his older sisters, a beloved son, and brother/best friend to his little sister, Bobby was dear to his family. Bobby will be greatly missed by his father, Robert Lee Pence Sr., his four sisters: Sherri Pence Rawson, Kelly Westerfeld(Jeff), Rhonda Vickers(Tom Gross), and Linda Darlene Pence. His mother, Joyce Elaine Pence, welcomed him to Heaven. Bobby was dearly loved by his nieces and nephews: Kyle, Josh, Ryan, Jake, Courtney, Brooke, Matthew, Dylan, Samuel, Wyatt, and Sarah; and a great niece, Lila and a great nephew, Cameron. Bobby is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, church families and dear friends. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, August 25, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Connersville IN, with Pastor Mal Gibson, officiating. Interment will follow in Springersville Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service where memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home on behalf of the family for funeral expenses.
