Obituary of Hannah Soper
Hannah Elizabeth Soper, 17, of Liberty, died on Thursday, August 10, 2017 in Union County as a result of an auto accident. Hannah was born in Columbus, Indiana, on August 11, 1999 to David and Sarah Poindexter Soper. Hannah was a senior at Union County High School in Liberty where she played on the Girls’ Soccer Team and belonged to the National Honor Society. She also was part of the Whitewater Career Center and a member of the Liberty Church of Christ Youth Group. Hannah worked at J’s Dairy Inn in Liberty and enjoyed watching hockey. She was an avid Boston Bruins Fan. In addition to her parents, Hannah is survived by a brother: Ben Soper of Liberty; maternal grandparents: BJ and Darlene Poindexter of Leroy, IL; four aunts and uncles: Deborah and Grady Tate of Liberty, John and Kathy McCann of Lebanon, OH, Rick and Laurie Butts of Mason, OH, Dave and Brenda Poindexter of Terrace Park, OH, and Brad and Lynn Poindexter of Leroy, IL; several cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Ronald Soper who died on May 29, 1997 and Myrna Soper who died on July 28, 2016. A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, 2017, at the Liberty Church of Christ – 102 South Main Street, Liberty, with Jason Davis officiating. Friend may visit from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church where memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Church of Christ or the Union County Girls’ Soccer Team.
