Ethan Scott Boggs

Ethan Scott Boggs, 20, of Liberty, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, October 1, 2012, from injuries suffered in a traffic accident on Quakertown Road in Union County.
Ethan was born in Logansport, January 17, 1992, to Barry Scott and Stefanie Ann Scott Boggs. In 2010, he graduated from Union County High School where he was recognized with having thirteen years of perfect attendance. Ethan continued his education at Anderson University for two years and had recently transferred to Indiana University-East in Richmond. He had played football for all four years of high school and one year at Anderson University. Ethan was currently working two jobs at Pizza King in Liberty and at the Quakertown Marina. He was a member of Hanna’s Creek Christian Church and was a ten year member of 4-H where he was active in the swine program and sport fishing. Ethan loved being outdoors, fishing, hunting and boating. Ethan most enjoyed spending time with a large circle of friends.
Ethan is survived by his parents; two siblings: Logan Boggs and Kathryn Boggs, both of Liberty; his paternal grandfather: Larry Boggs of Tampa, Florida; his maternal grandparents: Anita and George Scott of the Dunlapsville area; his girlfriend: Larissa Stephen of Oxford, Ohio; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ethan was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Sandra Boggs.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am. Saturday at Hanna’s Creek Christian Church with Pastor Dana Hadden officiating. Interment will follow in Dunlapsville Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday where memorial contributions may be made to the family.
