Timothy was born in Rensselaer, IN, and then lived the majority of his life in Warsaw, IN, until he moved to South Carolina in 2016. He was a graduate of Warsaw High School and Indiana Institute of Technology. Tim worked the majority of his career in the medical device industry. Most recently he worked for Hitachi Rail as a Quality Engineer. Tim loved to spend time with his family and friends just socializing and having a good time. His favorite past time was being on the water, whether it was Lake Tippy in Indiana or Lake Murray in South Carolina. In the past 6 years, he loved being “Pepaw” to his three grandsons.
Timothy is survived by his wife of 34 years, Pamela Vanderlinden; his sons, Kalib Vanderlinden (Kelly) and Korbin Vanderlinden (Samantha); his grandsons, Oliver, Samuel and Reid; his mother, Lynn Moser (Ron); his dad, Randy Johnson; and his sisters, Angie Clark (Stanley) and Karen Vanderlinden-Meerzo (Josh). He was proceeded in death by his father, Gyle Vanderlinden, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, 503 N. Lake Drive, Lexington, SC. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
