Sharon “Pixie” Meeks Eads, 84, of Leesville, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 13, 2021. Mrs. Eads was born October 31, 1936 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Hyllis Meeks.
Mrs. Eads was a registered nurse for many years working at multiple hospitals, care facilities throughout the midlands and Rickards Nursing Home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Sharon loved being outside; she especially enjoyed the beach. At home she spent time enjoying her donkeys, looking at the beautiful birds, fishing and spending time with her family. She loved taking care of others!
Mrs. Eads is survived by her loving husband, Earl Eads of Leesville; daughter, Roxie Kyzer (Blake) of Greer; son, Matt Eads (Angel) of Leesville; step-daughter, Robyn Camp (Bob); step-son, Jeff Eads (Cindy); step-son, David Eads; grandchildren, Kenna Trenkamp, Kyle Kyzer, Serenity Eads, Eva Eads, Ariel Eads, Corey Clamp, Blake Clamp,Travis Griest, Clint Griest, Allison Dungan, Dylan Eads, Mindy Taylor, Carly O'Conner; siblings, Corinne Hayes, and Terry Meeks. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Ken Meeks.
A memorial service for Mrs. Eads will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Shriners Hospital for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
