Ruth Hutto

LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Ruth Hutto, 67, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2014 at Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2290 Heath Pond Road, Elgin, SC 29045 with interment in the church cemetery. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Paul Miles. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.

Ruth Hutto was born July 30, 1946 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014. She was a daughter of the late Nellie Ruth Strickland and Odell Walker. She loved her children and grandchildren and she also loved to shop and take rides in the country.

Surviving are her daughter, Shelley Oliver (Bryce) of Virginia; son, Alex Hutto (Megan) of Lexington and the father of her children, Alfred Hutto; grandchildren, Stephanie-Lyn, Kelley, Dougie, Shelby, Tony, Braelyn, Chance and Chelsey; brothers, Gary, Randy and Wayne Strickland.
