Rose Butler Cox

GREENWOOD – A memorial service for Rose Natalie Butler Cox, 86, of Greenwood, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care of the Piedmont Inc., 408 W. Alexander Ave., Greenwood, SC 29646.

Ms. Cox was born July 27, 1930 in West Columbia and passed away Friday, September 2, 2016. She was the daughter of the late, Harold Butler and Doris Lovett Butler. Rose worked as a Manager most of her life for multiple establishments. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother to all her family.

Ms. Cox is survived by her daughter, Pamela Cox Kelly; sons, Billy Taylor, and Terry Cox; grandchildren, Ronnie Kelly, Joey, Gene, Taylor, Charles, Deanne Cox, Elizabeth Taylor and Carrie Key; ten, great-grandchildren and her brother, Mike Butler. She is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth “Randy” Cox and six of her siblings.

Rose was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
