Robert Tinsley Bryans, age 92, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away to his heavenly home on June 23, 2022. He was born on October 27, 1929 in McDonough, Henry County, Georgia to John Tinsley Bryans and Virginia Irene Glass Bryans.
Mr. Bryans served in the United States Army as a Private First Class Signal Corps from January 13, 1951 until September 26, 1952 and was stationed in Germany.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Margaret Eloise Mitchell Bryans on December 24, 2007 and by his beloved son, John Tinsley Bryans II in 1986; by his parents and the following brothers and sisters: Alma Bryans Smith, Henrietta Bryans Foster Starr, Raleigh Gee Bryans, Myrl Bryans Jack, Guy Bryans, Charles Henderson Bryans and Sandra Irene Bryans Moss.
He is survived by his sister, Ernestine Bryans Sargent of Lafayette, LA. He is also survived by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Grace and Hiram Mitchell of Ninety Six, SC and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
He will be interred at Good Hope Baptist Cemetery, Saluda, SC next to his wife and son. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
