Robert Alan Beaver

Robert Alan Beaver of Lexington, SC, died tragically on May 25, 2012. He was born on May 27, 1984 to Mark and Edie Beaver. He was a graduate of Lexington High School and employed with U.S. Lawns. Alan enjoyed the outdoors and hanging out with his friends. His biggest love of all was baseball. In 1996, his little league baseball team made it to the Dixie Youth World Series. Alan loved Gamecock sports almost as much as his mom.

He is survived by his parents, brother, Travis Beaver; maternal grandparents, Marion and Diane Smyrl; paternal grandparents, Gordon and Joyce Beaver and Peggy Beaver; uncles, Chris (Jennie) Smyrl, Tim (Laura) Beaver, Michael Beaver, Christopher (Allie) Beaver and Mark (Maria) Lewis and his very special cousin, Kristen (Allen) Knight and their children, Blake and Lucas.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lexington. Visitation will follow the service at the Parish Life Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harry Hampton Wildlife Fund, P.O. Box 2641, Columbia, S.C. 29202. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is in charge.
