WHITE ROCK – Robbie Delaine Yelton, 43, went home to her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Born on March 29, 1970, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Frances Sease Yelton. Robbie was a resident of the Heritage at Lowman Nursing Care Center for the past 8 years, where she met her friends, Richard and Lynne Fulmer, who later became her guardians. Despite her disabilities, Robbie had a strong faith, understanding and love for her Lord Jesus. She enjoyed life and her daily visits from her family of friends at the Lowman Home. She looked forward each evening for her special phone calls from “Elvis” and “Hawkeye”. Robbie will be missed deeply by so many who loved her.
Robbie is predeceased by her parents and her brother, Gene Sweatman (Diane). Surviving are her sisters, Audrey (Dan) Hansen, of Wilmington, NC and Elizabeth Alewine of Gilbert SC; sisters-in-heart, Tammy Fulmer Rauch and Christy Fulmer Wearn. She also had numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly.
Funeral services will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church on Saturday February 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Chaplin Gary Lyerly and Chaplin Christine Parham Officiating. Burial will follow at Dutch Fork Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the burial. To help with the burial expenses, memorials may be made to the Robbie Yelton expense fund, Wells Fargo Bank, 168 Columbia Ave., Chapin, SC 29036. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
