Surviving are three sons: Dwight “Bubba” Smith (Mandy) of Lexington, Steve Smith (Donna) of Lexington and Tim Smith of Lynchburg, VA; four grandchildren: Derrick Smith, Cody Smith (Kathryn), Chris Smith, Kayla Smith; great grandson, Kolton Smith and sister, Marlene "Sister" Harmon.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alan E. Smith.
Mrs. Smith retired from Southern Bell with 35 years of service. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church where she was involved in the Loving Group.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 26, 2023 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church Parish Life Center. Visitation will follow the service at the church.
