Ray started working as an engineering draftsman for Gardner Denver in Green Bay, WI in 1969. On September 20, 1969, he married Jean Drew and raised two sons, Michael and John. He moved his family to Lexington, SC in 1983 where he furthered his career in designing and engineering pneumatic tools.
Ray was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and a member of CGA. He loved cars and motorcycles, was an avid Packer fan, and liked to travel.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; his son, Michael; grandsons, Sean, Brandon, and Jerry Jadin; brother, James; and sisters, Rosemary Pelishele (Al) Geralyn and Rita Jadin.
He was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Theresa and his son, John.
A visitation for Raymond will be held Monday, July 10, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - Lexington Chapel, 503 N. Lake Dr, Lexington, South Carolina 29072. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2350 Augusta Highway, Lexington, South Carolina 29072. An entombment will occur Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Celestial Memorial Gardens, 3111 Delree Street, West Columbia, South Carolina 29170.
