He, alongside his brothers, worked at their long-time family store, Berley’s. He loved to cook BBQ chicken and watch his Carolina Gamecocks. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and Provost Guard. He also loved watching westerns and spending time with his puppies.
Ray is survived by his loving girlfriend of 17 years, Linda Boulware; his brother, Larry Kyzer; sons, Ray Kyzer, Jr. (Amber) and Ted Kyzer (Michelle); daughters, Susan DeShoun (Brian), Aleica Murphy (Corey), and Brittany Stone (Mike); as well as twelve grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy Kyzer; and his three brothers, Lloyd Kyzer, Tommy Kyzer, and Johnny Kyzer.
The family will have a visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072, with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. A graveside service will take place afterwards at Lexington Memorial Cemetery, 1772-1782 West Main Street, Lexington, SC 29072.
