Norris "Pete" E. Taylor

He was a lifelong member of First Calvary Baptist Church in Leesville, SC. After retiring from Olympia Mills and Burriss Construction, Pete and his beloved wife, Sibyl relocated to Pineland, SC so he could pursue his passion for hunting and fishing. He had a love for his family and carried on the tradition that he and Sibyl had created by visiting all his family at least once a month.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his daughter, Sandra Taylor; sons, Danny Taylor (Jan), Randy Taylor (Joye); 7 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and brother, Harold “Bus” Taylor. He was predeceased by his wife, Sibyl Mae Taylor; sisters, Rosa Bell Taylor Long, Articel Taylor Shealy, Sarah Lou Taylor Risinger; brother, David “Jack” Taylor and grandson, Kevin Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Beacon Baptist Church, 338 Sease Hill Road, Lexington, SC 29073. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
