Mrs. Rowe loved her family, cooking, gardening and taking care of others and animals. She married Clifford Rowe on November 12, 1960. She was an avid fan of Days of Our Lives and the Gaithers. Her favorite phrase was, “If you go away hungry, it’s your own fault.”
Mrs. Rowe is survived by her daughters, Gloria Rauch (Horace) and Susan Backman (Terry); grandchildren, Cliffton Forsyth (Cynthia), Quinton Forsyth (Savannah), Mistie Batchelor (Cody), Corey Backman; great grandchildren, Addison Forsyth, Braelyn Forsyth, Ansleigh Forsyth, McKinley Batchelor; sisters, Rachel Keisler (Bobby), Faye Shull (Grady); sisters-in-law, Gloria Clingan, Katherine Taylor, Velda Howard, Miley Corley; nieces and nephews and special friend, Bugsy. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Rowe; daughter, Lawanda Rowe; brothers, Richard, Phil and Milton Taylor and nephew, Jody Keisler.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Red Bank United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 11 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
