Mary was born in Wichita Falls, Texas. Her dream as a child was to become a nurse, a wife and a mom. She fulfilled her dream of becoming a nurse; she became an LPN for 30 years being a geriatric nurse. She lived her life the way she wanted. Always made sure her family was taken care of. She worked hard and loved her patients the entire time she worked. Mary taught us girls to love and to share as children. As we carry on our adult lives, we take all she gave us to become the best we can. Mary loved her fur babies and spoiled them just like they were her children (maybe more).
Mary was always proud of her four daughters: Angela (Ted) Mallon of Pelion, SC, Melinda Weatherford of Charlestown, IN, Shanna Kilgo of Wagener, SC and Christa Walker of Leesville, SC.
She also leaves behind her nine grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She has always been proud of their accomplishments and many achievements in their lives: Tracy (Don) Miller of Lexington, SC, Cayce (Grant) Bell of Pelion, SC, TJ (Sierra) Mallon of Lexington, SC, Britnee St. Clair of Mt. Olive, NC, Critter (Summer) Kilgo of Charlestown, IN, Benjamin (Payton) Walker of West Columbia, SC, Michael Walker of Lexington, SC, Carlee Walker of Leesville, SC and Tony (Alexis) Barnes of Wagener, SC; 15 great grandchildren. She was excited to see what the future will bring to these great kids and was happy when Toby, her oldest great grandson, got married: Toby (Kaylee) Miller, Ted Miller, Tiffany Miller, all of Lexington, SC, Ava Barnes of Wagener, SC, Aidyn Kilgo of Charlestown, IN, Joe Bell, Brody Bell, Grayson Bell, all of Pelion, SC, Isabella Walker, Oliver Walker, Lillian Walker-Elfering, all of Leesville, SC and Rowan Peay, Willow Mallon, Trace Mallon, all of Lexington, SC and Sage St. Clair of Mt. Olive, NC.
She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, friends, and her special friend, Mike Morley.
Mary was predeceased by her daughter, Tanya Rae Kilgo; her two brothers, Bill Everett and Richard Everett; her parents, William McKinley Everett and Carrie Reeves Everett.
We will miss our mom dearly, but we also know she is in no more pain and can walk and breathe great now, walking with Jesus and holding her baby Tanya.
