Martha Jeanne McKinney Kyzer, 88, of West Columbia, SC passed away on May 10, 2024. She was the wife of the late J. Norman Kyzer and daughter of the late Andrew Hunter McKinney and Martha Connor McKinney.
Martha was born in Anderson, SC and graduated from Calhoun Falls High School. She received an executive secretary degree from Columbia Commercial College, now South University. She was employed part-time at the South Carolina Highway Department, now DOT, and later secured a full-time position at the South Carolina Tax Commission, now Department of Revenue, retiring after 32 years of service.
She is survived by cousin, Luther Don Loughridge III (Selina); cousin, Susan Ward; brothers-in-law, Lenon Kyzer and Wyman Kyzer; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Red Bank Baptist Church Cemetery, 1357 South Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29073.
