Marilyn Dee Ortiz, age 54, of Lexington, South Carolina died peacefully surrounded by the love of her family and friends on Thursday, May 16, 2024. She was born on May 22, 1969 in San Francisco, California.
Marilyn had a strong sense of Faith in God, always had a very giving heart, and loved making new friends. She had a passion for antiquing, restoring antique furniture, and an amazing skill for cooking. She had a special love for the beach and being near water.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Daniel; her 3 children, Rebekah, Michael, and Joshua; granddaughter, Audrey; parents, Luis and Dorien; and sisters, Doris and Darlene.
She was predeceased by her cousin/brother, Steven; and her brother, Luis Alberto.
A memorial service will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, May 20, 2024 at Gibson Pond Park, 241 Gibson Road, Lexington, SC 29072.
