A private graveside service will be held for Lettie Carey Smith, of Cayce, at Celestial Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Smith was born in Royston, Franklin County, GA and passed away May 12, 2022. She was the daughter of Johnie Lee Carey and Onnie Cromer Carey.
Mrs. Smith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She loved animals, especially her beloved Eddie.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter, Susanna S. Curry of Columbia; sons, Ronald Wayne (Melinda) and Mark Frederick Smith of Columbia. She is also survived by five grandsons, Phillip Smith, Stewart Smith, Daniel Smith (Amy), Alex Smith and Zachary Curry as well as two great granddaughters and one on the way.
She is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Allen Frederick Smith; four brothers and three sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Broadacres Baptist Church Building Fund where she was a member for over 40 years.
