Lester Blume

WEST COLUMBIA- A memorial service for Lester E. Blume, 71, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Wade Roof. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home chapel. There will be a luncheon following the service at Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, 1000 B Avenue, West Columbia, SC 29169.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pets, Inc., 300 Orchard Drive, West Columbia, SC 29170.

Mr. Blume was born May 27, 1943 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015. He was a son of the late George Lybrand Blume and Reola Nelson Bledsoe. Mr. Blume was a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife, Norma Blume; daughter, Carrie Colin; sons, Troy and Travis Blume; grandchildren and great-grandchildren all of West Columbia; step daughter, Deborah Liafsha; step son, Dannie Shipes and brother, Wayne Blume and spouse of Lexington.
