Katherine Frost Taylor

Kathy had many roles in life, all of them involving taking good care of others. From bank teller, to preschool teacher, to helping Joel at Fatz, to assisting in special needs classes, she touched so many lives along the way.

She is survived by her husband, Joel Taylor; her children, Katie (Chris) Fonte, Kristie (Steven) Sawyer, Edwin (Breah) Taylor, and Patrick (Sara) Taylor; her grandchildren, Vivienne, Lucy, Betsy, Joel Dalton, Kingston, Elliot, and Olivia. She's also survived by her parents, Carolyn and Ernie Frost; and sister, Sheri Lemacks.

She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Kimberly Faith Taylor.

A funeral service will be held for Kathy at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 15th, 2023 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170, with a visitation one hour prior. A burial will follow the service at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.

Kathy will be remembered by family and friends for her loving warm personality. She had the unique ability to make everyone she met feel special. Those who knew her will remember her bright smile and lively laughter. Kathy loved her family deeply and particularly enjoyed the role of being Meme and NaeNae to her precious grandkids.

The family wishes to thank all of Kathy's care team for their dedication to her over the past few years. They'd also like to thank extended family, friends, and church members for the support.
