Dr. Myers was born October 22, 1936 in Lebanon, Indiana. He was a son of the late Marjorie and Ezra Myers. Dr. Myers was a Consulting Psychologist in Milwaukee, WI, at Humber, Mundie & McClary for 20 years, and then moved into his own private practice for 24 years. He was a member of Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church, where he was heavily involved, and was also a member of Rotary Club International. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman and loved to travel.
Dr. Myers is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judy Simpson Myers of West Columbia; sons, Scott Myers (Karin) of Indianapolis, IN and Greg Myers (Beth) of Milwaukee, WI; five grandchildren, Steven, Dan, Connor, Callahan and Maddie; four great-grandchildren and brothers, Jim and Jack Myers. He was predeceased by his son, Jeff Myers and sister, Jeannine Drumwright.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church Debt Retirement Fund, 5503 Sunset Boulevard, Lexington, SC 29072.
