When John was 18 months old, his mother married Fred K. Cameron and he raised John as his own. After high school, John joined the Navy and went on from there to a career in finance. Later in life, John became a realtor in Florida.
John lost his first wife, Theodora, to a tragic car accident in Lutz, Florida on January 1, 2006. They had been high school sweethearts. Years later, John met his second wife, Barbara, and they moved to Lexington, SC. Sadly, she recently passed away too.
John is survived by his sisters, Deborah Ferrara and Lynne Schatz.
