Born March 14th, 1950 to Ruth Blake Frost and James Lennen Frost in Atlanta, GA, soon after the family moved back to Lexington, SC where he and his siblings were raised.
Our Dad was a graduate of Lexington High School where he was an amazing all-star athlete. He excelled in football, baseball and later we were to find out, even track. Dad was an avid outdoorsman where he found joy and peace in deer hunting, turkey hunting, fishing and all things that involve being surrounded by nature. When he wasn't found in the woods, he was the successful owner and operator of Frost Construction specializing in both residential and commercial. Although this was his job of the choice if you ask any of us, there wasn't anything that our father could not do.
He is survived by daughters, Angela Frost Widener (Ron) and Crystal Stacey (Del); son, Jimmy Frost (Stephanie); grandchildren, Katelyn- Brooke Clark (Tadd), Andrew Frost, Phillip Frost, Jimmy Paul Frost, & Sophia and Cecilia Stacey; his two Great GrandBuddies, Cohen and Cade Clark; brother, Jimmy Frost & sister, Guila (Roy) Clark; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and adopted siblings that will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Billy and Tommy Frost; and sister, Gaynelle Frost.
The world was a better place when finding yourself in our Dad's presence. His strong ambition, laughter, and joy of life was so infectious that everyone he encountered left knowing and loving him because he never met a stranger. He had a way of immediately making you feel comfortable and important. He left this world as a legend, leaving some big shoes to fill.
Until we see you again Dad…… save us each seat beside you in that new prime Cadillac deer stand you have now in heaven.
