Mr. Addy served in the U.S. Army as a medic. Jerry loved fishing, golf, camping, all things nature and was fond of anything "casserole". He loved his family and his dog, Baby Girl. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He is survived by his two daughters, Holly Frier (Scottie) and Donna Hendrix, both of Lexington; his five grandchildren, Abigail Frier, Levi Hendrix, Knox Hendrix, Scottie Frier, Jr (Marie) and Mason Frier (Nicole); great-granddaughters, Isabella Frier and soon to be born, Margot Frier; his twin brother, Gerald Addy (Ima) and sister, Joy Wilson (Joe).
A visitation and celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Carolina Wildlife Center, 5551 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.
