She was born December 22, 1961 in Columbia, SC to the late Donnie and Irene Jeffers. Jennifer had a heart of gold and loved everyone she met. Her radiant smile was always welcoming to those around her, and her laughter was contagious. She never met a stranger and was always there when people needed her most. Being born the youngest of five children, Jennifer was born with a fighter’s spirit, the gift of gab, and a fearless leader. Being the baby in her family, she quickly picked up the ferocious lioness spirit protecting her family and all those she loved. Her honesty and truthful responses were respected and appreciated by everyone she knew. Her greatest gift in life, and biggest passion, was helping others. Loving the public and sales, Jennifer started a job at Paradise Homes. Several years later, she chose a different career path working for the DMV where she spent many years working with the public. She was loved by many, but her family was her pride and joy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Barry Eugene Rambo Jr.; brother, Kenny Jeffers, and sister-in-law, Stephanie Jeffers. Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, James “Jim” Bennett who she started dating on September 16, 1989 and married in February 1994; children, Misty Gwyn (Dustin), Natasha Williams (Corey) and stepson, James Bennett; grandchildren, Jason, David, Jada, Jonathan “Lucas”, Kiley, Patrick, Major, and Lincoln; brothers, Donnie and Ronnie (Kay) Jeffers; sister, Connie Hughes; brother-in-law, John Bennett; aunt, Pauline; uncle, Johnny Jeffers and numerous nieces and nephews.
