Jeff was employed by Owens-Fisher Construction as a truck driver. He was a member of Saluda Lodge No. 103, A.F.M. Jeff was devoted to his family and known as the neighborhood caregiver. Through his battle with cancer, he remained positive and jovial. To quote him, “It’s a win-win situation. I either win the battle with cancer or win my Heavenly Home!”
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Marthers Watts; daughter, Jennifer (Kevin) Varn; granddaughter, Kaylee Thorpe and grandson, Jeffrey Kole Varn; brothers, Ed Watts, Kenneth “Bubby” Watts, and Chris Watts.
He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Vinetia Glock.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Happy Wheels, Inc., 133 Dupre Mill Ct., Lexington, SC 29072. Happy Wheels visits approximately 400 hospitalized children weekly to allow them to pick out a toy/book.
