He felt most at home in Edgefield, and had a special connection to McKendree United Methodist Church. He attended Lexington High School and excelled in masonry construction in vocational studies. He worked many years at Storey’s Florist in Lexington, where he assisted with arrangements and deliveries for weddings, churches, hospitals, and other celebrations of life. He had a passion for the outdoors, frequently found fishing, nature watching, and caring for his fishpond. He had a mischievous nature, commonly pranking his brother, mother, and father. He also was an animal lover, taking care of neighborhood cats and feeding wild birds.
Tim is survived by his brother, Kenneth W. Timmerman (Sarah). He was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephew, Kaitlyn, Evan, Larkyn, and Brynnan. He was also loved by his extended family and friends.
Funeral services and interment will be held graveside at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at McKendree United Methodist Church cemetery in Edgefield, SC, located at 565 US-378, Edgefield, SC 29824, at the intersection of US-378 and McKendree Drive.
Memorials may be given to the church building fund of McKendree United Methodist Church, Attn: Jim Dorn, 212 Faulkner Mountain Road, Edgefield, SC 29824.
