Mrs. Haynes was born June 1st, 1944 as the 7th of 9 children in Columbia, SC, to the late Frank David and Sadie Spradley Bradley.
Mrs. Haynes faced innumerable hardships at a very young age. After losing her mother to cancer, she and her siblings were entered into the orphanage system causing the family to be separated. But family ties are not easily broken, Mrs. Haynes was able to find a home with her oldest sibling and her family where she remained until meeting her one true love and husband, Richard.
But with every trial Mrs. Haynes never lost her extreme compassion for family, friends, loved ones or even strangers as there were none she would not help. As a devoted member of Florence Baptist church, Mrs. Haynes’ compassion could be seen through her devotion to the Lord, helping those in need with donations and acts of charity, giving clothes to the less fortunate and feeding the hungry. No matter how ill Mrs. Haynes, whether the common cold or late stages of cancer, she was always excited to see a loved one, forgetting her woes and smiling and laughing with friends and family.
God gifted Mrs. Haynes with a large imagination and a desire to create as she enjoyed painting landscape scenes, making bracelets, necklaces and whimsical figures with items found in nature such as seashells, pinecones and feathers. With all the things she cherished and created, Mrs. Haynes enjoyed sharing the items with her family and friends expressing her love and affection.
Mrs. Haynes was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Richard Paul Haynes Sr.; her brothers, David, Charlie, Jack and Robert Bradley; and her sisters, Carolyn Mishoe and Louise Wallace. She leaves behind two children; Pamela Jean Haynes Ross (Charles P. Ross) and Richard Paul Haynes, Jr. (Esther Ruth Daniel); her grandchildren, Michael Phillip Ross, Christopher Taylor Ross, Heather Rhea Williams, Kara Nina Daniel; and great-grandchildren, Summer Rhea Daniels and Holden Cade Williams.
