Carol B. Biering

Carol raised her family as a stay-at-home mother and then later taught at Charlestown Montessori School. Teaching was her passion and one of her proudest accomplishments. She was strong in her faith and was a member of Covenant Community Church in Lexington, SC. She loved her family very much and enjoyed sharing stories with anyone that would listen. “Nanny” was her favorite name and she embraced it fully.

She is survived by her daughter, Christi Humbertson (Ernest) of Lexington, SC; son, Henry “Hank” Biering (Danielle) of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Tasha Hefner (Mark), Danielle Eslick, Nicole Outlaw (Matthew), Nick Alls, Cody Humbertson, and Sage Biering (Ben); great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Grayson, Olivia, and Madison; and her beloved cat, “Callie”.

She was predeceased by her brother, Edward Browder, Jr.; sister, Meridy Browder Jenkins; and daughter, Sondra Biering Alls.

A visitation will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday July 6, 2024 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home-Lexington Chapel 503 N Lake Dr., Lexington, SC 29072 with a memorial service to follow at 11:00AM. A lunch will be served at Covenant Community Church, 1302 Old Orangeburg Road Lexington, SC 29073.
