Brenda Sims Newman was born October 20, 1943 in Tryon, NC and passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Frances Edwards and Roy Elmer Sims.
Mrs. Newman was a member of Lexington United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Rex Newman of Gilbert; son, Blaine Newman of Lexington; daughter, Wendy Culley of Lexington and granddaughter, Ashley Osteen (Kaleb) of Gilbert.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
