Mrs. Bernie L Hunt

LEXINGTON - Bernie L. Hunt, 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at her home in Lexington, SC. She was born in Kingston, TN on June 7, 1920.

Bernie was preceded in death by her parents, Alden L. and Hettie M. Light of Kingsport, TN and brother, Harold L. Light of Columbus, OH. Bernie is survived by her husband, of 71 years and 10 months, Otis M. Hunt of Lexington, SC; daughters, Charlene K. (Richard) Graves of Columbus, OH, Marvena H. (Gary) Oxley of Lexington, SC and Carolyn H. (James) Dulin of Lynnville, TN; sister, Betty J. (Gene) Rusch of Columbus, OH; seven grandchildren, Greg and Michelle Parker of Jacksonville, FL, Dawn and Shawn Roush of Columbus, OH, Kelly and Brent Brock of Lexington, SC, Shannon and Ben Amick of Lexington, SC. Christopher Jackson of Lynnville, TN, Kara and Rick Winkel of Franklin, TN, Tara and Kerry Massey of Thompsons Station, TN; seventeen great-grandchildren; Courtney, Nathan, Josh, Matt, Grayson, Garrett, Jessica, Melissa, Hunt, Abby, Jesse, Peden, Nathan, Mac, Christina, Brent Jr., and Colton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Cornersville Funeral Home, 310 N. Main St. Cornersville, TN 7047. Visitation will be held at 12:00 noon prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment immediately following the service at Dulin-Hunt Cemetery, 4490 Blue Creek Rd. Lynnville, TN 38472
