Alexa was predeceased by her first husband, Gordon Bridgeman, who passed away in 1986. The couple was blessed with one child, Nicole Bridgeman, born in 1976 in Frankfurt, Germany. Alexa was also predeceased by a sister, Dr. Suzanne Stroman.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her husband of 33 years, Earl A. Lewis and sisters, Martha Ann Moody of West Columbia, South Carolina and Olivia Estell NeeSmith of Hinesville, Georgia. She is also survived by her daughter, Nicole Bridgeman Yarborough (Ernie) and granddaughters, Chesley Ann Yarborough and Ella Katherine Yarborough, all of Lexington, South Carolina.
A memorial service for Alexa Lewis will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Elmwood Cemetery.
